Our company was originally founded in 1978 as "G & R Construction" by Gary M. Smee, with his father Robert M. Smee. The following year, in 1979, G & R Construction was incorporated and named "Smee Builders, Inc." From 1978-1993, Smee Builders built custom homes in the Porterville and Visalia areas and by 2001, we had completed nearly five
subdivisions. Currently, we have expanded to the Goshen, Tulare, and Bakersfield areas and we are eagerly anticipating growth to other areas of the Central Valley.
